The week of October 3-7 is designated as the Week of Respect in New Jersey to recognize the importance of character education and a positive school climate

    2. I failed a time to do this when i got into a argument with someone.
    3. Someone may show lack of respect to themselves by the way the act with people and how they treat them .
    4.someone that shows lack of respect really don't stand out to people that don't like to be disrespected. This can cause people not to like them or not wanna be around them

  2. 1. What do you do to show respect? What i do to show respect is i talk to them in a calm tone and i don't be rude to someone that's not being rude to me.
    2. Can you think of a time when you failed to do this? I failed to do this when someone kept calling my name and kept asking me questions. I honestly hate when people constantly call my name it gets me irritated and i freak out.
    3. How might someone show a lack of respect for himself/herself? By doing things to themselves also doing things that other people wouldn't like / like family members etc.

No i can't think of anyone who does those things , but the effect that that has on their life is that when they keep constantly doing that they're showing other people that they have no respect for others and also have no respect for themselves or even parent guardians.

    respectful behavior? What effect does this have on his/her life? I show lots of respect to someone period. I wouldn't be disrespectful to someone that's not being disrespectful to me. If it's a teacher or a grown up i won't be smart but if it's like a kid or someone my age that's being disrespectful towards me then yes i will be disrespectful to them back ..

  3. 1. What i do to show respect to someone is treating them kind and helping them.
    2. I failed when me and my two friends were walking and my one friend dropped his stuff and instead of helping we laughed at him.
    3.Someone can show a lack of respect for himself/herself if they go around do stuff that makes them look bad or always talking negative about himself/herself.
    4. I don't know anyone that does this but if i did it would probably make people not like them or not enjoy hanging out with them because they are very disrespectful.
    5.People who show respectful behavior will take a better effect in their life, if you are respectful then people will enjoy being around you because you aren't always making fun of them.

  4. 1.To show respect i don’t give an attitude or judge them.
    2.Yes i can think of a time, it was to a teacher that i didn’t like.
    3.Someone might show a lack of respect for themself by acting out, or disrespecting their parents/authority.
    4.Yes i can, and the affect it has on their life is making them look bad or disrespectful, or rude. It just doesn’t set them up to look good. It could affect other people's choices to be around them or choose them for something.
    5.Yes i can, and it had a good affect on them, they look like the roll model and people want to be around them and pick them for school events or even later on in life for jobs.

  5. 1. I show respect by not being rude or not giving an attitude.

    2. Yes, it was last year and I didn’t give respect to one of my teachers because I didn’t like her.

    3. Someone one might show lack of respect by being disrespectful to their parents, friends, or someone they don’t know.

    4. I have not meet anyone that is disrespectful but if I did I would not want to hang out with them because I wouldn’t like to be around that person if they are disrespectful.

    5. I have meet a lot of people that show respect and people that show respect will be able to do things in life when you are respectful.

  6. 1.To show respect I be nice to others and try to relate to them to make them feel like they know I get them and that we both got something in common
    2. I failed at a time to do this when the person wouldn’t let me in andi couldnt get through to them
    3.someone might show lack of respect for him or herself by the way they think of themselves for example someone might think that they looked ugly.
    4.yes i can,the effect that this has on there life is how everyone hates the person and with everything they do no one likes the person that much and it’s hard to gain back the other peoples trust
    5. Yes i can, and it has a good effect on them because not only did they gain other people’s respect they also gained that persons trust but you guys start a relationship and you share relationships with other people that you are kind to too.
